An art director by day, this Jakarta-born illustrator is better known for his rich, vivid drawings of surreal worlds. Many of Ardhira’s works draw from his love for Japanese superheroes, anime as well as vintage ads and magazines.
His LSM design is a throwback to his college days when he would spend hours at his workspace in the wee hours, surrounded by his favourite toys and music.
I used to stay until 3am in
the morning. As everybody
else is asleep, there is this
magic moment of quiet and
peace. That’s when I try to
draw or make my music.
That said, his current idea of a perfect Friday night in is having pizza and watching Pitch Perfect 2 with the missus. His choice of poison for the night? A good old Milo Dinosaur.
