Sometimes doing nothing is everything. For
Singaporean graphic designer Jeremy Tan, a big part
of his inspiration behind his tee design came from
his younger days, when he would spend his school
holidays at Singapore’s Changi Airport with his
sister, where his mother used to work.

One of my favourite parts
of being on holiday is lounging
in the transit area of the
airport. I tried to remember
what being in there, doing
nothing in particular, felt like.

Referencing his distinctive dreamy and comic-like
drawings, he shares that his illustration style
developed from his inability to draw a straight line.

Seeking opportunities wherever he can has also turned
out to be the bedrock of his illustrations, and even in
his outlook in life. The best part about travelling to
Jeremy? Walking aimlessly through a new place, and
silently strolling through the city’s streets.
